Where we’ll be

Godolphin School, Salisbury

Godolphin is an independent boading and day school for girls in Salisbury, England, which was founded in 1726 and opened in 1784. The school was awarded the Sunday Times Southwest Independent Secondary School of the Year 2019.

Their Performing Arts Centre and general facilities are fantastic and we can’t wait to call Godolphin our VIVAstrings home again this year!

Salisbury train station is a 7 minute taxi or 15 minute walk from the school, and trains run regularly from Waterloo in an hour and 30 minutes.

“We’d love to express our heartfelt thanks to you and all the fantastic teachers and staff for orchestrating such an exceptional course! __ had great fun last week - it’s her first time to participate such kind of residential violin camps so we were so relieved and proud to see her violin resonating beautifully in the hall with others and we thoroughly enjoyed all the other pieces in the gala performance! We are so amazed by her progress in violin skills, musical expression as well as her trivial knowledge about famous musicians!

Thanks to your passion, dedication and commitment to fostering a nurturing learning environment for children, __ has been so inspired to explore further on her pursuit to become a better violinist – she’s already been looking forward to coming back next year!

Thank you once again for making this summer of hers an extraordinary one.”
